Clements C. Mayes, CPP
Clements’ photographic skills are based upon 25 years of working experience in the field. He holds a BFA in Communication Art & Design/Photography from one of the most prestigious art schools in the country (Virginia Commonwealth University), has attended The East Coast School for Photographic Arts, and keeps current with the latest trends in photography through various professional organizations and seminars. He has most recently obtained national recognition as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP).
His wife Stephanie operates a custom frame shop known to all as “Picture Perfect Custom Framing”.
With a unique background that, since 1988, has taken him into some very specialized forms of photography - scientific & technical (NASA), aerial, photographic mapping (VDOT), high-speed motion picture and video, industrial, photojournalism, architectural and advertising - his focus for the past 14 years has been primarily on family portraiture, high school seniors, weddings, and photography for regional business.
The studio and frame shop are conveniently located together in their newly renovated building at 401 Halifax St., Emporia, Virginia.
